DANVILLE — Two months after a public announcement about its financial struggles and a fundraising series for the year, the Fischer Theatre’s full-time executive director is stepping down as the theatre looks to save money moving to a part-time director.
After several years of nonprofit struggles and hands-on learning, the Vermilion Heritage Foundation Board of Directors has decided to restructure its organizational model, the board announced Thursday.
That includes the transition from a full-time to part-time executive director with a hybrid model dependent on increased support from the board and partnerships with community arts organizations.
