THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION VOLES RELEASE
The Vermilion Voles Vintage Base Ball Club will be holding an open practice at Kennekuk County Park on Sunday April 27 at 2:00PM. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
The Voles club is entering its 22nd season in 2025. Team members play ball as documented in 1858. Men and women, ages 13 and older, are encouraged to play. Along with honoring the early evolution of ball playing in America, vintage base ball is great exercise and an excellent way to have fun and meet new people. The Voles play a schedule of matches from May through October. The club hosts other teams at Kennekuk County Park and travels for games throughout the region.
The practice on April 27 will be held at the Voles’ home field which is located along the Kennekuk County Park main road across from the Ironwood Springs Lake Mingo Boat Access parking area.
An additional open practice will be held Saturday May 3 at 10:00AM at Kennekuk County Park.
