Rain or shine this coming Saturday, April 26th; will be the 2025 Spring Clean-Up Day along West Newell Road, from Vermilion to Shake Rag Road in Danville. Keep Vermilion County Beautiful will be joining forces with the City of Danville and Danville Noon Rotary, 9 AM to 11 AM.
Keep Vermilion County Beautiful’s Brenda Adams says look for the Pride Grows trailer in the Walmart Supercenter parking lot; and wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. And if you can, bring your own gloves and bus spray. Adams says there’s still plenty of work to do in this area.
Audio PlayerAUDIO: Since they’ve started development there, there’s not as much litter as there was before they plowed. But, there’s still quite a bit there that we can pick up, and clean up part of the area. And depending on how many volunteers we have, we’ll go into the Walmart parking area, the out lot, as well.
Once again, Spring Clean-Up Day activities along West Newell Road will be 9 to 11 AM this coming Saturday.
