THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City will be accepting applications for structural improvements through the Downtown TIF District. The Redevelopment Incentive Program (RIP) is a grant program that provides financial assistance for permanent building and site improvements on properties located within the City of Danville’s Tax Increment Financing Districts. The properties must be in the City designated Downtown TIF District.
The application will be open from May 1st through May 31st, 2025. All applications will be accepted via online application. The applications will be scored against eligibility criteria and funding will be awarded based on the scoring.

Required Documents:
1. Cost proposals * (Required)
2. Completed W-9 form for the Grantee * (Required)
3. Letter from the owner of record granting the applicant permission to complete the proposed improvements (if the applicant is not the owner)
4. Letter of commitment or other evidence of adequate financing (If Applicable)
5. Letter of intent – positive impact in the downtown area and city in overall
6. Before Photos
7. Site plan of the property as well as any elevation drawings or exhibits needed to illustrate improvements (If Applicable)
