THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville does hereby announce that funds are available for Exterior Home Rehabilitation through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
The City of Danville is now accepting applications for individual homeowners to apply for funding for needed home improvements. These funds can only be utilized for exterior weatherization projects (roofs, windows, siding, etc.) Applications will be accepted between May 1st, 2025 through May 15th, 2025, and subsequently scored by a Housing committee. The homeowners are required to be of low- and moderate income families.

All projects must benefit very low (VLI) (30% AMI), low (LI) (50% AMI), and low to moderate income (LMI) (80% AMI), households. To qualify for the program, the property must be within the legal City Limits of City of Danville, IL; and must not exceed 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for the area, as determined by the 2025 Income Limits determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
