THE FOLLOWING IS AN EDGAR COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT RELEASE
On Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 08:27PM, the Edgar County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call regarding a deceased person in the roadway of 1200th Road, Paris, Illinois. This person was identified as Dakota J. Gibson, W/M, DOB 3/21/1991. Based on information discovered during the investigation, the Edgar County State’s Attorney Office filed charges and at the request of the Edgar County Sheriff’s Office sought the issuance of an arrest warrant for Rheanna V.
Satterfield, W/F, DOB 12/15/1990. Edgar County Sheriff’s Deputies, with the assistance of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, took Satterfield into custody on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
