As Homrich out of Carleton, Michigan continues their work tearing down the old Vermilion County Court Annex Building, Bresee Tower hangs up above it waiting to be the next target.
Director of Public Works David Ruwe says the south end of Vermilion is set to be open at some time for the weekend; and that the Bresee Tower tear down will start sometime in early May, once the debris from the Annex Building tear down is done being sorted out.
Residents are asked to please continue to use extreme caution, both driving and walking, around the Main – Vermilion intersection area. The south end of Vermilion remains closed (as of Wednesday morning, April 23rd), but should be opening soon. And once again, please remember that when approaching the Rita B. Garman Courthouse on foot, please do so from the south by crossing Main Street, or from the east.
