DANVILLE — A sprinkler that burst on Danville Area Community College’s Campus is affecting some classes and students today.
College Express Danville High School students received notice that College Express has been canceled Wednesday, April 30 due to flooding that occurred overnight.
Students were to report to the DHS auditorium instead.
College Express Director Nick Chatterton reported, “In summary, there was a sprinkler that burst on the second floor between Cannon and Lincoln Hall and there was a great deal of flooding that happened. That’s about all I know, but our offices are closed for now.”
Interim DACC President Randy Fletcher said they were relocating those College Express staff, and no other classes or faculty are being affected.
“We don’t make that decision,” Fletcher said about College Express.
