THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT RELEASE
The Vermilion County Conservation District will be hosting the 40th Annual Conservation Olympics event at Forest Glen Preserve on Friday, May 9, 2025. Seven Vermilion County Schools (Oakwood, Salt Fork, Judith Giacoma, Mary Miller Junior High, Schlarman, Potomac, and Bismarck) will send their 6th grade students to compete in Olympic-style events while also having to answer conservation-related questions. The schedule of events is below; we invite you to attend and cover the event!
Forest Glen Preserve is located at 20301 E 900 North Road, Westville, IL 61883. We will headquarter our event at the Edgewood Center, it’s the first building facility you will see upon entering Forest Glen. Over 350 students will be in attendance from those seven schools so we will be easy to find in the park!
