THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to announce the complete lane closure on a portion of the westbound lane on North Street between North Vermilion and Hazel Streets starting Monday morning May 5, 2025, and lasting until approximately 4:00 PM Friday, May 9, 2025. A utility contractor has informed the City they will be repairing the utility duct bank at the northeast corner of North Vermilion and North Streets.
This closure will impact only on motorists traveling westbound on North Street and all eastbound motorists will not be impacted. Detour signage has been placed to detour motorists around the lane closure. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution while traveling near the roadway closure corridor.
