As always, Danville Youth Hockey was a big part of it. President Shane Hagler says a little street hockey action can always lead to interest in getting on the ice.
AUDIO: We’re bringing gear out, we’re bringing nets; we’ve got sticks and things like that; just to kind of garner interest. The big thing that we’re trying to do is let the community know that we’re here.
And how about something new? Vermilion County Disk Golf was out there tossing the frisbees. Participant Joshua Bush says google them, or look up Vermilion County Disk Golf on Facebook or Instagram.

And of course, we should also mention miniature golf! Plenty of food and family fun there as well; for First Fridays’ Sports and Brews this past Friday (May 2nd) in Downtown Danville 5 to 8 PM.
