THE FOLLOWING IS A RANTOUL SPORTS COMPLEX RELEASE
Rantoul, IL – JP Sports, a youth travel baseball event company has contracted multiple weekends at the Rantoul Family Sports Complex beginning in 2026. “With the growing success of Sports Tourism in Illinois and the Rantoul Family Sports Complex set as one of the cornerstones of youth sports in our state, we’re thrilled to announce our partnership beginning with JP Sports,” announces Director ofSports Operations, Ryan Reid. For the last five years Game Day USA and Rock Tournaments have been the two standing partners with Rantoul for youth baseball and softball events. JP Sports will join Rock Tournaments in a new 3-year contract to continue the efforts in Rantoul and bring more teams to the region. “Game Day USA has a strong tradition of hosting events in Champaign County. Their focus on individual events do not fit our model, but we want to wish them the best as they continue efforts across the region and work to strengthen the sports of youth baseball, “continues Reid.
“We’re excited to bring JP Sports and USSSA tournaments to the Rantoul Family Sports Complex starting in 2026. This premier facility aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering high-quality youth sports experiences, and we look forward to making Rantoul a key destination for teams and families across the region,” said owner John Pieritz, owner and operator of JP Sports and Event Management. “We’re excited to see what JP Sports can bring to our community and looking forward to another strong three years with Rock Tournaments as well. It’s a very exciting time for us here in Rantoul, and we hope that teams who travel and live here will welcome the new changes,” states Mayor Chuck Smith.
JP Sports will host its first 11 weekends with the Rantoul Family Sports Complex in April of 2026.
