THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to announce the complete closure of the intersection of Columbia Street with Chandler Street as part of the Danville Meadowlawn Storm Sewer Phase 1 & Phase 2 Improvements. Beginning today Thursday, May 8, 2025, through Friday, May 23, 2025, there will be a complete roadway closure of the intersection for the installation of storm sewer infrastructure. The storm sewer project will then continue north along Chandler, Shadowlawn, Harmon, Woodlawn, Robinson, to Roselawn Streets for local traffic only.
This closure will impact on motorists and pedestrians traveling within the intersection and are urged to use caution while traveling near the roadway closure corridor. Road closure signage will be in place and please choose an alternate route.
