Danville, May 8, 2025–
The City of Danville would like to inform the public that external demolition of the Bresee Tower Building is scheduled to begin today, May 8, 2025, in the late afternoon or on the morning of Friday, May 9, 2025.
To allow the public to follow this historic project, the contractor has provided a time-lapse camera view of the demolition, updated every 15 minutes. You can view it at the link below:

The City invites all interested individuals to monitor the demolition remotely! Please note that this camera is being voluntarily provided and operated by the demolition contractor, and any issues cannot be addressed by City staff.
For those who prefer an in-person experience, we encourage you to come downtown and support our local Downtown and Towne Center businesses. If visiting in person, please use extreme caution and follow all posted detour routes for your safety and the safety of others.
