OAKWOOD — A little more than one month after his election as Oakwood village president, Clayton Woodard has submitted his resignation.
Woodard said work commitments had prompted his decision not to continue heading the Vermilion County village of a little more than 1,200 people.
Woodard is employed by Illinois State Police, stationed at Pesotum.
