The public is invited to join the Danville Police Department and the Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department; for the annual Police Memorial Service at Sunset Memorial Park on Wednesday, May 14th, at 10 AM.
Honor Guards from both agencies will perform as we recognize our fallen officers.
David Farnsworth lost his life in action while serving the community on January 27, 1976. Also being honored are Myron Deckard, who lost his life in line of service on June 6, 2001; and August Lind, who lost his life in line of service on April 10, 1908.
