THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
The Danville Police Department is currently working the scene of a traffic crash with injuries involving a semi-trailer. The area effected is in the 700 block of E. Main Street and thru traffic is blocked on E. Main Street from the area of Buchannan Street to Collett Street. The street closure is expected to last for several hours while investigators work the scene. Traffic in this area will be re-routed either south on Buchannan Street or north on Collett Street.
The public is asked to do their best in avoiding this area in an effort to minimize traffic congestion. A follow up press release will be sent out with an update once more information is available for release.
