THE FOLLOWING RELEASE IS FROM THE VERMILION COUNTY CORONER’S OFFICE
Danville, IL- The Vermilion County Coroner stated that an early afternoon vehicle accident on East Main Street in Danville on May 12, 2025, involving a pedestrian who fell off of his pedal cycle into the roadway and was struck by a semi-truck has been identified as a 51-year-old Danville man. The victim has been identified as Christopher S. Dyszkewicz. .
An autopsy is scheduled for this afternoon. The Danville Police and the Vermilion County Coroner’s office continue to investigate.
