DANVILLE, Ill. (May 16, 2025) — The crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd, and the unmistakable smell of Chicago dogs— summer baseball is back in Danville. The Danville Dans will open their 2025 season on Tuesday, May 27, with a 28-game home schedule packed with fan-favorite traditions and exciting new promotions, all hosted at historic Danville Stadium.
This season, players from across the country, from as far away as Santa Barbara City College and as near as the University of Illinois. Tickets remain an affordable $8 for adults, while children 10 and under enjoy free admission. Parking is always free, making it easier than ever for families to enjoy a night at the ballpark.
The Danville Dans continue their tradition of unbeatable ticket deals, starting with the beloved Cheap Seat Tuesdays, back for eight nights this season. On Tuesdays, fans can enjoy $3 admission, $3 hot dogs, $3 sodas and $2 Busch Light beers—a summer staple in Danville. Sundays are Family Day, with $2 off all adult tickets, perfect for bringing the whole family to the ballpark. New for 2025, the Dans are introducing “217 Night” Thursdays, a nod to the local area code. For just $17, fans receive two tickets and 2 Busch Lights, celebrating community pride with hometown value. And Friday Night Happy Hours return, with $1 off all beers from 5:30 – 7:30 pm.
This year’s promotional calendar includes something for everyone. Wednesday, June 4 is Baseball Unplugged Night. Step back in time for a truly unique game night experience. No videoboard. No walk-up music. No public address announcements. Instead, hear the crack of the bat, the cheers from the stands, and the game in its purest form. It’s also a night designed to be sensory-friendly for fans who find modern game-day environments a bit overwhelming.
Saturday, June 7 is Superhero Night and capes encouraged. A week later Saturday, June 14, the Dans celebrate brats, beer, and all things “wunderbar” with the Wurst Night in Baseball. On Father’s Day, Dads get in free with a paid ticket and are invited to play catch on the field after the game. Wednesday, June 18 is Bark in the Park. Dogs get in free, and humans get half-price tickets for bringing their pup.
July promotions include Military Appreciation Day on Sunday, July 6. All active military and veterans get in free. Fireworks will light up the sky after the game on Friday, July 11. On Team Poster Night, Friday, July 18, the first 500 fans get a free team poster and postgame autograph session. It is also Little League Night. Teams in uniform get in free and will be honored on the field. Friday, July 25 is Christmas in July with half-price admission with a Toys for Tots donation. Finally, Thursday, July 31 is Fan Appreciation Night. Every ticket holder will receive a free ticket to a 2026 home game.
