ABOVE: After-accident traffic at South Gilbert and Bluff Streets
DANVILLE, IL -The Vermilion County Coroner, Jane McFadden, stated that an early afternoon vehicle traffic crash at approximately 12:10 PM Wednesday, May 28 in the unit block of South Gilbert Street at Bluff Street in Danville, involving a motorcyclist and an SUV, claimed the life of Ryan E. Lankster, a 46-year-old Danville, IL man. Mr. Lankster’s family was notified, and an autopsy will be performed Thursday, May 29th.
The Danville Police Department and the Vermilion County Coroner’s office continue to investigate.
