Rubber Ducky Readers: Join this fun Beanstack Challenge! For every 10 books read, the child will get a rubber duck, every 100 books equal a book, a sticker and a certificate, 1000 books equal a goody bag filled with a book, a sticker, a completion certificate, a stuffed animal, a blow-up rubber duck, etc. This challenge is for ages 0-6.
June 9: Children’s Wonder Garden Club. Looking for a way to share the magic of gardening with your family? Join our weekly gardening program! Every Monday during June and July at 9:30 am in the Howard Rutan Meeting Room.
June 9: Genealogy Workshop – Discovering Your House’s History. Learn how to use our library and community resources to discover facts about the history of your house. 1:00-2:30 PM in the 2nd Floor Conference Room.
June 10: Wee Wigglers Story Time. Join us for action rhymes, stories, and songs for children ages 5 and under—Tuesdays at 10:00 am in the Program Room.
June 11: Free Wednesday Movie. Families can enjoy a kid-friendly movie together, with free popcorn and a drink available while supplies last. It’s the perfect way to cool off and relax this summer! Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. in June and July.
June 11: Teen Writing Club. Join us every Wednesday for Teen Writing Club! Journals and pens will be provided for our teen writers, along with writing prompts. 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm on the 2nd Floor.
June 11: Ukulele Music Club. Join Allison & Tony Kasper from UGSM for Ukulele Club this summer, held every 2nd Wednesday of the month! All skill levels are welcome—bring your own ukulele or borrow one of our limited extras. Printed sheet music will be provided, so just show up and strum along! 5:30 – 7:00 PM in the Program Room.
June 11: Wordy Wednesdays. Puzzle lovers, mark your calendars! Every Wednesday, head on up to the 2nd floor Reference Desk for a variety of word puzzles. Available anytime during our regular business hours.
June 12: Pop Culture Trivia – Dungeons & Dragons! Calling all adventurers! 
Join us for a D&D Trivia Night this month, where you’ll test your knowledge on legendary campaigns, iconic characters, and magical items. Compete for fantastic prizes and ultimate bragging rights in a night of laughs and legendary competition! 5:00 – 6:30 PM in the Howard Rutan Meeting Room.
June 13: Synergy Seminar Series. Join us and special guests, Synergy HomeCare, for an enlightening Seminar Series designed for older adults, focusing on enhancing well-being, understanding aging, and navigating health challenges. This month, Kirk Swanson from Transitions Care presents: Advanced Directives. 11 AM – 12 PM in the Program Room*.
June 14: Bubble Blast & Book Bonanza. Join us for a delightful day of FREE family fun on the Library Lawn with our friends from Birth to Five! Enjoy bubbles, books, crafts, and yard games. Perfect for all ages! 11 AM – 1 PM.
June 14: Sensory and Bilingual Story Adventures. Join us for Sensorial & Bilingüe Aventuras de cuentos, a unique programming experience combining bilingual storytelling with sensory-friendly activities, designed to engage children of all abilities. This inclusive program creates a welcoming space where stories come to life through interactive elements, fostering language development and sensory exploration in a fun and supportive environment. Saturdays at 11 AM in the Children’s Department.
Adult Craft: Stop by the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor for June’s Grow Your Own Daisies take-and-make crafts! While supplies last.
Coloring Contest for all ages: Color a picture and win a prize. Return entries by the end of the month. Entries will be displayed in the Children’s Room. Winners will be notified.
