THE FOLLOWING IS A TAPS ON TUESDAY RELEASE
This week’s (Tuesday, June 3rd) “Taps on Tuesday” program will focus on D-Day.
Larry Weatherford, Greg Green and J.C. Switzer will be the evening’s presenters. Ron Bolser from the Vermilion County War Museum will give a program on the D-Day Room at the Museum. The featured veteran will be the late Jim Jones of Catlin who served on the U.S.S. Harding on D-Day. Rebecca Woodrum will sing the National Anthem and Anita Zoeller will sound Taps.
The program begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Soldiers Circle at Spring Hill Cemetery.
