THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT RELEASE
Westville, IL – The Vermilion County Conservation District will be hosting a Prairie Blooms Hike on Saturday, June 14, 2025, 9 – 10 am, at the Doris L. Westfall Prairie Nature Preserve in Forest Glen Preserve. Enjoy a one-mile walk through the tallgrass prairie to learn about this native, once-expansive habitat with it’s history, wildflowers, and grasses with a naturalist.
Pre-registration is required at https://prairieblooms.eventbrite.com, at $5/person, with all children under the age of 16 accompanied with an adult. Registration will close at 5pm on Wednesday, June 11.
