THE FOLLOWING IS A BISMARCK FIRE DEPARTMENT RELEASE

At approximately 10:12am Tuesday June 10th Bismarck Fire was dispatched to a working structure fire. Upon arrival crews found a fully involved house with attached 2 car garage, a detached 2 car garage, 2 pick up trucks, and a 5th wheel camper all of which were beyond saving. 4 residents and multiple animals were displaced from the fire and the Red Cross is working with them with assistance and resources.
Bismarck Fire would like to thank all of our mutual aid for their help today, Lynch Area Fire Protection District, Bluegrass Fire, Rossville Area Fire Dept, Tilton Fire Department, Westville Area Fire Protection District, West Lebanon Fire Department West Lebanon IN, Vermilion County Illinois Sheriff’s Department, Ameren Illinois, American Red Cross of Illinois, and the Vermilion County Public Safety Buildings 911 dispatchers.
Roughly 25,000 gallons of water was used to eradicate the fire and protect other property, with the 7 fire departments 35 fire and EMS personnel were on scene.
Bismarck Fire would like to remind everyone if you have a fire don’t try and put the fire out on your own and wait until it’s too late to call 911!
