THE FOLLOWING IS A CRIS HEALTHY AGING RELEASE
CRIS Healthy-Aging’s Adult Protective Services department is hosting a World Elder Abuse Awareness Event at our Senior Center, 309 N. Franklin Street in Danville on Friday, June 13th. This marks World Abuse Awareness Day, and we are creating awareness concerning the critical issue of how abuse affects one in four vulnerable adults in Illinois who are 60+ or disabled persons 18-59.
This event is open to the public. Please stop by this FRIDAY to help us raise awareness! Videos will be shown throughout the day, and promotional items will be available for those who attend. Refreshments and cookies will be available from 11am to 1pm.
