DANVILLE — After earlier this month extending interim President Randy Fletcher’s contract through the end of the year, the Danville Area Community College Board on Thursday now may act a permanent president hiring.
Board President Greg Wolfe provided little information about the agenda item, “Board Consideration of Hiring of President” for the board’s 5:30 p.m. Thursday meeting.
According to Wolfe, they had a committee of 12 people who interviewed three DACC president candidates.
The board has a closed session scheduled as part of its Thursday meeting to discuss the results, Wolfe said, and then the board could act on hiring a president.
Wolfe declined to say who the other two candidates are. He said he had no comment on the matter, due to it being a personnel matter.
