DANVILLE — There were tears but also meaningful music and memories shared from her best friends and show choir friends, church family, family members and others to honor Aniyah Davis at Monday’s celebration of life service.
Leek and Sons Funeral Home live-streamed the service at New Life Church of Faith.
No arrest has been made in the shooting of 18-year-old Davis on June 21 at Winter Park.
According to Danville Police Department Deputy Chief Terry McCord, a detective was to talk to another victim today.
Two others were injured in the shooting, and police continue to search for a suspect following the multiple shooting incidents “from at least two locations” in the Winter Park area earlier this month.
