THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASE (The above is a file photo.)
On Saturday, 7/5/25, around 10:00 p.m., Danville Police Officers located a victim in the 400 block of N. Vermilion with a gunshot wound. The 30-year-old Danville man was taken to a hospital in Urbana, where he is currently listed in serious condition.
Officers learned the scene of the shooting was on the Northwest side of Churchill Towers in the 100 block of E. Seminary St. The location was processed by the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Unit.
The Danville Police Department does not currently have any suspects, witnesses, or further leads.
