Vermilion County Board Chairman Steve Miller says the county is awaiting word from an architect about the air conditioning problems…
Audio Player{AUDIO: “But the initial reaction that the architect gave me that it simply is an atiquated system. It hasn’t, perhaps, always been operated properly. But we’ll know more when we hear from the architect.”}
Miller added all options are being explored regarding the animal shelter….

They’ve indicated that they are supportive of maybe having another alternative site, and they’ve been in negotiations with us. So we have a lot of moving parts going-on right now to try to make the best decision for all areas of the county.”}
The County did have some repairs made to the air-conditioning at the animal shelter earlier, but some board members say it was only a “band-aid” and that more needs to be done.
