Audio PlayerDeputy Danville Police Chief Terry McCord says the United States Marshals Service arrested 27-year-old Isacc K. Forest of Westchester, Illinois for the shooting of a Danville man in the area of Churchill Towers. The shooting in the 100 block of East Seminary Street left the victim hospitalized in serious condition at the time.

The location of the shooting was processed by the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Unit. Evidence provided Danville detectives with probable cause to seek an arrest warrant. U. S. Marshals arrested suspect Isacc Forest on Tuesday (July 15, 2025) in the Park Forrest, Illinois area. Forest is charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Battery/Discharge of a Firearm, 1 count of Possession of a Firearm by a Repeat Offender, and 1 count of Possession of a Firearm/Convicted Felon.
The Danville Police Department reminds the public that all subjects arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
