DANVILLE – At its June 26 meeting, the Danville Area Community College Board of Trustees officially named Dr. Randy Fletcher as the 8th President of DACC. Following his appointment, the Board approved a four-year employment contract outlining key terms of his presidency.
Dr. Fletcher, who had been serving as Interim President since December 2024, will begin his official term on July 1, 2025, continuing through June 30, 2029.
The contract provides Dr. Fletcher with a base salary of $240,000, with the possibility of modest annual increases. In addition to standard insurance benefits, the agreement includes allowances for housing, vehicle use, and professional expenses. Dr. Fletcher is also eligible for performance-based bonuses and will be evaluated annually based on measurable goals set in partnership with the Board.
The agreement includes provisions for retirement contributions, reimbursement of approved business expenses, and performance evaluations that will be made publicly available, as required by law.
DACC Board Chair Greg Wolfe noted, “This agreement reflects a commitment to fair compensation, accountability, and transparency while aligning with the College’s mission and fiscal responsibility to our district’s taxpayers.”
Dr. Fletcher brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience in higher education and has expressed a strong vision for promoting excellence across all areas of the College.
