THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
As the back-to-school season approaches, Science in the City is the perfect way to spark excitement in local students and families about learning! Join us at downtown Danville’s Temple Plaza on Friday, August 1st from 5-8PM for a spectacular science fair-style evening filled with hands-on experiments, exciting demonstrations, and interactive exhibits that show science is truly everywhere; from rocks and weather to chemistry, and physics of an egg drop with the competition starting at 5:30PM.
You can sign your contestant up at the following link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F44ACAF2DA3FEC43-57505378-eggdrop#/
Local businesses and organizations will be leading fun, engaging activities that make science come alive right on the streets of downtown. Plus, enjoy live music, great food, and plenty of energy to keep the whole family entertained.

Come explore, discover, and get inspired! Science in the City is where curiosity and community collide, only on Friday, August 1st from 5-8PM.
