THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE AREA COMMUNITY COLLEGE RELEASE
DANVILLE – Get ready for a great time at Danville Area Community College’s (DACC) 2nd Back to School Block Party! Join us on Wednesday, August 6th, from 5-8 pm in DACC’s Main Street Parking Lot. If it rains, don’t worry—we’ll move the fun to Thursday, August 7th, from 5-8 pm.
This event is open to everyone in the community, with free entry and free parking. Bring your family and friends for a night of excitement and activities for all ages.
Here are some of the things you can enjoy:
– Face Painting
– Inflatables
– Carnival Games
– Special Guests (like mascots, princesses, and superheroes)
There will be multiple vendors, including four food trucks and TCBY frozen yogurt. Please note that some activities and vendors might require payment, and some may not accept cards, so bring cash just in case.
You can also visit community resources and organizations that will be there. Plus, there will be giveaways and prizes, like school supplies and DACC swag.
