AUDIO: And we are awaiting a report from our architect, who has inspected the Catlin-Tilton Road facility, to determine what improvements would be warranted to be made there. And then we will find out what the interest of the city and the community is for the type of services, and the level of services, that we will be providing at the taxpayers’ cost.
Miller noted there has been some preliminary discussion about possibly having an animal adoption center at another location….
AUDIO: The city has suggested that they think that this would be a better world if we had an adoption center separate from our main facility. And there’s quite a bit of opinions on all angles of that issue. And we’ll have to try to resolve them.
Miller added “everything will be on the table” when the meeting is held with representatives from the City of Danville. And Miller added the county wants to continue to work with the city regarding animals.
