THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
DANVILLE, IL – The City of Danville Public Works Department will be closing the intersection of Cronkhite and Main Street for an emergency sewer repair beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
During the repair, westbound traffic on Main Street will utilize the center turn lane to pass through the area. The intersection will reopen to all traffic as soon as the repair is complete.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the area and to follow all posted signs
and directions from work crews.
