THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
It is a pleasure to announce that on August 26th, 2025, the Danville Police Department held a swearing in ceremony for 3 new police candidates to be our community’s police officers. Peyton Sotor and Joseph Wilson will report to the Police Training Institute (PTI) next week for their 16-week Basic Law Enforcement Course while Brennan Crose, who is already a certified police officer with the State of Illinois, will immediately begin the DPD field training program. Thank you to all of the members of the City’s leadership, police personnel, family, friends, and community members who came in support of the newest additions to our team.
