The Lynch Fire Protection District has their golf outing coming up; on Saturday, September 6th at Turtle Run. Chief Dustin Heiser recently appeared with Tommy B on D102’s The Big Show to talk about the important equipment they plan to purchase with the proceeds from this year’s event.
AUDIO: We’re looking to buy some infrared cameras; that we would use on a fire call so you can see through all the smoke. It helps us see either victims, downed fire fighters; it also helps us find hot spots in the house. Fires kill the power in the house, and then everything’s dark.
Jana Heiser explained the plans for the golf outing at Turtle Run.
AUDIO: We’ll start registration at 10:30 AM on the 6th. Registration will include golf, your cart, your lunch, and then a golfer’s swag bag; as well as some gifts Lynch branded for you. And then we will start lunch, and we’ll have a putting contest.
The shotgun start is set for 12:30 PM. To register, please go to Lynchgolfouting.com.
