THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to share that IDOT has informed they will have ramp closures at Lynch Road and Bowman Avenue as part of highway improvements to Interstate 74. To complete this work, starting Tuesday, September 2, 2025, they will close the eastbound off-ramp and westbound on-ramp at Lynch Road, and the westbound on-ramp at Bowman Avenue. All other ramps will remain open.
The following week starting Monday, September 8, 2025, the eastbound on-ramp at Bowman Avenue will be closed throughout the week.
