ROSSVILLE — Rossville residents are proud of their history, and it shows inside the Rossville Historical & Genealogical Society Museum and with its board.
Brothers Tom, acting president, and Jerry Cornell, former president and now registered agent, love to reminisce and talk about Rossville history. A regular mailed newsletter also shares stories of the past that Jerry digs out of newspaper clippings.
Historic artifacts are located inside a former Ross Township building, including rooms upstairs and in the basement, with young ones particularly fascinated with the two-cell jail.
The society was founded in 1982. It has about 265 members.
