THE FOLLOWING IS A FESTIVAL OF TREES RELEASE
Danville, IL – The 29th annual Festival of Trees will kick off its 2025 season with a Designer Open House on Thursday, September 25, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the David S. Palmer Arena, Room 154. Designers—both returning and new—are invited to attend this festive evening featuring important festival updates, live demonstrations, refreshments, and a special thank-you gift for all attendees. The event marks the official start of this year’s theme, “Jingle All the Way!”, and offers participants a chance to get inspired, ask questions, and connect with the festival planning team.
Award-winning wreath maker Paula Meece and three-time Festival Cup champion Scott Mathis will offer hands-on demonstrations at the wreath and tree design stations.
This year, designers who plan to complete their 7 foot and 4.5 foot trees or wreaths at home may pick them up at the Open House and deliver completed items to the arena during set-up in November. Designers will also complete their registration forms on-site. Those unable to attend the Open House may make alternate arrangements with the Festival Designer Committee.
The 2025 Festival of Trees will be open to the public November 15th–19th at the David S. Palmer Arena, with designer set-up days scheduled for November 11–12.
Designers are encouraged to RSVP to fotdanvilledesigners@gmail.com, though registration is not required to attend. Complete event details and updates are available at festivaloftreesdanville.com, and on Facebook and Instagram.
