Danville, IL — September 18, 2025 — The Trep School®, in partnership with Law And The Fam (LATF), is hosting a free, family-friendly Coffee With Lawyers event to support small businesses and entrepreneurs in Danville. The event will take place on Monday, October 13 at 11:00 AM at Revel Bakery & Play Café, located at 2 E Main Street, Danville, IL.
Coffee With Lawyers will feature a conversation on economic development for entrepreneurs, with LATF presenting strategies to help attendees become:
- Business-ready
- Partner-ready
- Capital-ready
LATF will also introduce Fly Counsel, a free business law clinic designed to provide legal support for entrepreneurs. Attendees will have the opportunity to apply for the clinic on-site or online at https://www.lawandthefam.com/getfly.
The Trep School will share wraparound resources available to help entrepreneurs learn, launch, and soar. These offerings are part of the Economic Empowerment Center (EEC), located at Soar Space Business Center—a collaborative initiative by LATF, The Trep School, and Vermilion Advantage, NFP.
“Many of our participants have needed legal counsel to help them navigate the development of their businesses,” said Tricia Teague of The Trep School. “We’re excited to partner with Law And The Fam to give them access to legal support and business development resources.”
The event is open to the public and welcomes families with children. Revel Bakery & Play Café offers a kid-friendly environment, making it easy for parents to participate while their children play.
