Seventeen-year-old Emma Patton explains what she is doing during the event…
{AUDIO: “I tour all the different locations, as well as volunteering at different booths that help out with Parke County Incorporated. Or just any small groups of people that need the extra help.”}
Patton explained how she feels about Rockville and Parke County being able to host such a huge festival..
{AUDIO: “I think it’s something so amazing. I think it’s something to be proud of that such a looked-over and small town can hold such character, and such a big festival with so many diverse people. I think it’s something that deserves recognition.”
Patton is a senior at Parke Heritage High School. She hopes to become a licensed cosmetologist and then pursue a business degree at Vincennes University.
