Visitors Bureaus from throughout the State of Illinois will be visiting Danville for the Illinois Destinations Association Fall Conference. Meetings and activities will be taking place Wednesday, October 15th; and Thursday, October 16th. There will also be a welcoming event at the Fischer Theatre from 5 to 7 PM on Tuesday, October 14th.
Danville Area Visitors Bureau CEO Rhonda Ellis says 54 organization are signed up to participate. Registration begins at 10:30 AM Wednesday at the David S. Palmer Arena, with meetings beginning at 1 PM. An event at Danville Stadium, with live music and ballpark food, is set for 6 to 8 PM Wednesday. Additional meetings and activities will take place at the Palmer Arena from 8:30 to 1 PM on Thursday.
