DANVILLE — As final sections of the 24.5-mile Kickapoo Rail Trail are completed over the next year, Vermilion County officials also are excited for more tourism opportunities to extend the multi-use recreational trail another three miles to Danville.

Champaign County Forest Preserve District Planning Director Sam Ihm says that section will go through Fithian and Muncie.
