THE FOLLOWING IS A TRINITY LUTHERAN SCHOOL RELEASE
DANVILLE, ILLINOIS— After one hundred sixty-two wonderful years of serving and educating children of our congregation and the broader community, Trinity Lutheran Church will close its Lutheran day school. This May will end a long tradition of daily instructing children, not only in standard academic subjects, but more importantly in the words of Jesus in a day school setting. Over the years, those words of Jesus have reached, not only our students, but their families as well, resulting in thousands of baptisms, confirmations, and new church members.

Although the day school is closing, Trinity continues to preach and teach Jesus’ saving death and resurrection for all people. Plans are being explored on how to keep sharing that Good News of Jesus with our students and their families, and, of course, our congregation and community. Stay tuned!
