GEORGETOWN — Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School Building Trades Instructor Wade Anderson will be relishing his last two years before retirement by assisting students in building a playhouse that’s raffled off at the annual Festival of Trees to help local children.
The students, building the playhouse as part of their residential construction program, take pride in the annual build, and so does he.
One year, a former student who had graduated and helped build a playhouse in the past won the raffled house. It was a full-circle moment, and Anderson couldn’t help but think of all the students who’ve built the houses over the last approximately 25 years.
