Rubber Ducky Readers: Join this fun Beanstack Challenge! For every 10 books read, the child will get a rubber duck, every 100 books equal a book, a sticker and a certificate, 1000 books equal a goody bag filled with a book, a sticker, a completion certificate, a stuffed animal, a blow-up rubber duck, etc. This challenge is for ages 0-6. November 25: Teen Universal Yums. Ready to snack your way around the world? Each month, teens can explore a different country through its unique treats, fun trivia, and music from that culture. It’s a flavorful, interactive experience you won’t want to miss! 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm in the 2nd Floor Conference Room. Ages 13-19.
November 25: Tween It! Tuesdays. Fun programs for tweens each Tuesday. This week: Nailed it! Inspired by the Netflix TV series, tweens will be presented with a craft and supplies, but no instructions! 5:00 PM in the Program Room. Ages 8-12.
November 25: Wee Wigglers Story Time. Join us for action rhymes, stories, and songs for children ages 5 and under. Tuesdays at 10:00 am in the Program Room.

November 26: Teen Crafternoons. Stop by on Wednesday afternoons for an hour of fun, hands-on craft. This week: Mini Weaving Baskets! No registration needed, just bring your creativity and hang out! 4:00 – 5:00 PM on the 2nd Floor. Ages 13-19. *Please watch for closure updates*
November 26: Teen Writing Club. Come write, chill, and connect. No pressure – just good vibes, cool ideas, and a space to be creative. Journals and pens will be provided for our teen writers, along with writing prompts and snacks to fuel your mind. Every Wednesday, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm in the 2nd Floor Conference Room. *Please watch for closure updates*
November 26: Wordy Wednesdays. Puzzle lovers, mark your calendars! Every Wednesday, head on up to the 2nd floor Reference Desk for a variety of word puzzles. Available anytime during our regular business hours.
November 27*: Library Closed in observance of Thanksgiving.
November 29: Lit Fit with Mandy. Join us Saturdays for a dance fitness series that’s as fun as your favorite book. All fitness levels welcome – just bring your water bottle and wear clothes that can handle your best moves! 2:30 – 3:30 PM in the Howard Rutan Meeting Room.
November 29: Novel November Meet-Up. Every November, writers around the world challenge themselves to finish their current works – and we’re here to support that journey! Local authors are invited to gather every Saturday this month to write, network, and check in with fellow creatives in a safe, supportive space. 1:00 – 2:00 PM in the Garman Room.
November 29: Sensory and Bilingual Story Adventures. A unique programming experience combining bilingual storytelling with sensory-friendly activities, designed to engage children of all abilities. This inclusive program creates a welcoming space where stories come to life through interactive elements, fostering language development and sensory exploration in a fun and supportive environment. Saturdays at 11:00 AM in the Children’s Department.
November 29: Turkey Trot – Best Dressed Turkey Parade. Get ready to gobble up some fun! Our local small businesses are competing for your vote in the First Annual Best Dressed Turkey Contest. Cast your vote on the DPL Facebook Page starting Monday, November 24. Then, join us on Small Business Saturday for turkey-themed festivities including a kids’ craft at 12 PM and our feather-filled Turkey Trot Parade at 1 PM starting in the Howard Rutan Meeting Room.
Adult Craft: Stop by the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor for a take & make craft! Enjoy November’s Pumpkin Pegboard Sting Art. While supplies last.
