THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
Join us in Downtown Danville for the Night of Lights Parade, one of the city’s biggest holiday traditions! Bundle up, sip on hot cocoa, and celebrate the magic of the season with us on Friday, December 5, at 6:00PM. This year’s theme is “Deck the Halls”!
The parade heads south down Vermilion Street, starting at Williams and ending at Towne Center. Find a place along the route and enjoy! Parade announcements will take place under The Fischer Theatre Marquee.

Stand along Vermilion Street to enjoy dazzling floats, shining lights, and festive displays from local and surrounding businesses, organizations, and individuals. Begin your afternoon with free Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides around the block in Downtown Danville from 1-5PM! Carriages will be stationed next to the Fischer Theatre on Harrison Street. Thank you to the Vermilion County Conservation Foundation for sponsoring the carriage rides for our community.
Bring your family, friends, and neighbors as we celebrate the holiday season in the heart of Downtown Danville!
