Danville Noon Rotary invites the community to step into the spotlight and get ready for a night of fun, giving, and good cheer at “Voices of Giving: A Rotary Telethon Celebration”. Formerly known as the Rotary auction, this revamped event will be held on Thursday, December 4 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Danville Boat Club. The cost is $10 per person and will include heavy appetizers. There will be great music from the 70’s and a cash bar. This is a casual family-friendly event. Although it is optional, we welcome your grooviest 70’s attire!
Inspired by the nostalgic charm of a Merv Griffin-style telethon, this event promises laughter, lively bidding, and heartwarming community spirit. Support the club’s mission and bid on items that benefit local advocacy groups — all while enjoying a night of Rotary fellowship. Proceeds will assist the Rotary Memorial Way Project which honors veterans with flags lining Vermilion Street. It will also assist The Dwelling Place and Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which provide resources for the homeless in our community.
The evening will feature Ross Webb as Auctioneer Extraordinaire! You know it’s going to be a fun evening when Ross takes the mic. So put on your best “showtime” smile and join us for a memorable night of generosity and joy. All are welcome!
