THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE AREA TOYS FOR TOTS RELEASE
Vermilion County, IL, Warren and Fountain County, IN — Toys for Tots is issuing an urgent call to the community as the 2025 campaign faces record-high registration numbers. This year, more children than ever—ages 0 to 15—are depending on the generosity of our community to ensure they have gifts to open on Christmas morning. At this time, we are short in all age groups, and every donation truly makes a difference.
To help meet this critical need, Toys for Tots will partner with WCIA 3 for a special Toy Drive on December 11, 2025, running from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Crossroads Church on N. Vermilion Street in Danville. Community members are encouraged to stop by and donate new, unwrapped toys or make a monetary contribution to support children in Vermilion County and surrounding areas.
“We have a record number of families seeking assistance this year,” said the local Toys for Tots Coordinator. “Our goal is to ensure every child feels the joy and magic of Christmas, and we cannot do that without the support of our community.”

All donations stay local and will be used to serve children right here in our community.
